'We stayed here for one night and the location is perfect for a day in downtown Oban. Close to grocery store, restaurants, harbor, etc. Studio with alley kitchen is very convenient.Host is very responsive. Check in was easy and quick. '

'Our stay in Balvenie was very good. Nice apartment in a convenient location in Oban. One critique / watchout for future renters. The VRBO Listing showed the apartment as having both a washer and a dryer. We chose this apartment based on the advertisement of having a dryer as we knew we would need to do laundry at this juncture in our trip. As it turned out, the listing was wrong...there was no dryer. Several drying racks were present, but no dryer. The host / owner / VRBO needs to update the...

'The best part about this VRBO was the location. It really was perfect. We were an 8 minute walk from the train depot, as situated in the middle of the most charming town of recent memory, and we had an ocean view. The flat was very clean. The bed is firm (bordering on hard) but I would stay again. '

'Great view, as explained, clean flat, convenient place, there was an issue with the fridge, but solved. Forth floor with no lift might be a problem, but luckily not for us.'

'Location in the heart of Oban so good if you don’t have a car. Bedrooms and bathroom recently decorated and beds comfortable but both bedrooms could do with some more furniture (dressing table/chair/hooks?). Not as well equipped as expected and some of the kitchen equipment needs replacing (saucepans and utensils). Bedrooms clean but the kitchen drawers/cupboards need a good clean (we had to wash the contents before we used anything). It had the feel of student accommodation rather than the...

'This was a very well equipped apartment in a great location. The bed was very comfy (albeit one side against a wall and a bed end which made it a bit difficult to get in and out of).Plenty of hot water but a bit of a drainage issue in the shower ( made the owner aware so hopefully this will be fixed).The washer and drying rack were a handy bonus '

'Myself and a friend escaped busy Edinburgh out here for the peace, quiet and of course the views. So much to see out here. From the beach house to the ride around to the nearby towns. The views are gorgeous. Makes you want to just stay .'

"Heb je kamer 1 dan zit je onder afzuiging van de keuken, wat nogal kabaal geeft, maar toen we dat aangaven kregen we direct een andere kamer. "

"Lokatie was top. Om de hoek van treinstation en alle restaurants, winkels enz Hotel word beetje gerenoveerd. Hotel is gevestigd boven een pub maar dat is niet hinderlijk en geeft sfeer. De badkamer was niet echt top en de lampen op de nachttkastjes (met opberg ruimte) deden het niet. Onze nieuwe dure wereldstekker heeft het begeven. Waren 7 stopkontakten. Het bed lag goed en was lekker breed, netjes en schoon. Kamer grootte was net aan goed en beschiktte over een tv. De tv stond op een 3 ladenkastje. Aan de deur hingen hangers om je jas op te hangen. Sleutel overdracht ging in de pub aan de bar. Met vriendelijke toegangsdeur instruktie voor het hotel uitleg. De twee bovenste trappen in het pand zijn erg mooi. "
