'The cottage was beautiful, well equipped, comfy, cosy, well situated and an absolute gem! Go no further than Frinton Escapes! My first time and the cottage was ideal. Close to ALL amenities in a close, so quiet but everything on its doorstep. Great history behind it too. If you do t go, you will be the loser! '

'Comfortable, well-equipped cottage built onto the end of the farmhouse next door, with its own drive and grounds and ample parking space. The setting is rural, surrounded by fields and copses, just over a mile down a narrow single track lane. Very quiet, apart from the sound of planes on the flight path into Stansted airport 15 miles or more away, which didn't really bother us in October (though for a couple of nights bizarre acoustics did make a couple staying next door in the farmhouse sound...
