'What a fantastic place to stay. Convenient location from the train station And easy acces to snowmonkey parc. The food was amazing And the service level as well. They have an amazing bar on the roof. You sit with -15 in heated plastic iglo tents zipping from your drinks. The onsen Spa is big on the upperfloor overlooking Yudanaka And the mountains. The Room is huge. So wonderful stay And highly recommended.'

'This is a beautiful Japanese traditional lodging with two shared and a private onsen. It is close to the Yudanaka station and Lawson convenient store. With two kids, we stayed in a large family room with a living room and a bathroom (toilet only). The kids enjoyed watching Japanese kids show in the living room and the grown-ups can relax on the tatami next door. The breakfast and dinner are amazing. Everything is just so perfectly arranged for our stay. Highly recommend staying here if you are...

'Property had exposed knob and tube, which is a fire hazard for this kind of structure. Due to the age of the inn, there is no insulation. Rooms must be heated with space heaters which further increases the risk of fire. The accumulation of dust and various other contaminants triggered allergic reactions to several members of my family. On a positive note, food was very authentic and delicious. The comments and reviews need to reflect the condition of this inn.'

'The room was clean, the bathroom and shower were a bit run down but usable. If you plan to ski or eat at Nozawa Onsen it makes it very difficult. The first shuttle from Togario Onsen to Nozawa is at 9:24am and the last one was o round 4pm. No taxi after 6, so you cannot eat dinner in Nozawa staying here. While it is not the hotels responsibility, it made dining options very limited. The front desk staff was unfriendly, apart from the hosts wife who tired her best to arrange accommodation. '

'Staff and room were exceptional. Pillows were a bit hard but you can ask for softer ones. Main problem was lack of ammenities tho there's a drug store a 10 minute walk away from it to buy some.'
