'We liked most things about this hotel. Nice view of the Sacramento River. Easy walk to Old Town Sacramento. Clean room. Very nice shower. Did not care much for the Pilothouse, the on site restaurant. Way overpriced for very plain breakfast. Bland eggs Benedict for $25 and $15 for a bowl of oatmeal that was nothing special. We will return to the hotel, though, for the beautiful and quaint accommodations and location. Just not the restaurant.'

'I have stayed at this hotel twice now, for work trips. Both times I was greeted with enthusiasm and professionalism. On my second trip, I had to leave before 6am to get to the Bay Area for a meeting, and the lovely ladies that were working that morning were kind enough to let me grab a quick bite to go from the buffet that was all set up, but not technically open until 6am. And they asked if I were happy with all aspects of my stay as well! Great job! Keep it up!!'

'Anna from the front desk was a total sweetheart! She checked us in early and even helped with our luggage! The hotel is clean, quiet and nicely decorated. The area is nice as well, Capital Park is beautiful. The only thing we did not like was the mattress, it was not very firm and my husband moves around a lot in his sleep so I didn’t sleep very well. But we know you can’t please everyone!'
