'WHAT a discovery! I loved my stay at Canalside -- the room was beautifully updated, but still had those historic squeaky wooden floors that remind everyone to be a little quieter (it worked!). The coffee maker produced great morning joe; the shower got hot almost immediately; the bed linens were soft and the towels were a perfect blend of absorbent and scratchy. 'Comfortable beds, lots of pillows and towels. Linens clean. Room was quiet even though there was no vacancy that night. Corners of rooms obviously skipped by cleaners. Needs some TLC. Only one accessible plug near the beds. So even though it’s a room meant for 4 people, only one thing could be plugged in. So either my CPAP or my charger, not both. There was no alarm clock either. Breakfast was good with lots of food available but it was busy when we were there around 830am and no place for us...
