'The room was good, although some basic things where missing like a refrigerator and coffee. However the biggest bummer besides the expensive parking was the neighborhood it was located in. Everywhere homeless and very shady people. At night my wife didn't dear to go out cause of this. I'm a smoker myself so i went out regulary just to smoke and stand in front of the hotel where in total 4 times strange folks tried to pull something off. 'I am regular here! I love it. I’ve stayed in most of the luxury hotels in WeHo (The 1, Edition, Sunset Tower, London, Pendry)- and I think La Peer is the best overall. It’s a great location at a really great price. It’s a quiet hotel that still has a great restaurant and bar. The staff is amazing and the rooms are really large for the location and price. "Old smelly hotel. Parking is NOT optional as you cannot park on the streets anywhere! You have to park at the hotel for 55usd a night. This was not mentioned whilst booking or on our confirmation. Whilst booking it mentions that you don’t HAVE TO park on the street insinuating that you can park on the street if you want. Optional extras are parking facilities which are not optional but mandatory "
