'The photos didn't prepare us for how beautiful the property actually is. Phil and Jeannie were so hospitable and helpful; we lacked for nothing. Wish our trip was longer just so we could spend more time enjoying this gem. '

'This property is a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. We loved being immersed in nature with deer roaming the property, wild turkeys passing by, and roosters crowing in the morning fog. Just across the street is the Ferndale View Trail, with gorgeous plants and tree coverage, perfect for a quiet walk. The surrounding area has a quaint old-town feel with cute cafés like Buttercup Coffee, and the location is ideal for easy day trips to Trinidad, Eureka and Humboldt Redwoods State...

'Great little cottage, with everything you could possibly need in perfect location to walk to town. The indoor swimming pool was an added bonus. :)'

'I wanted to take a bath so I got a couple of the Clorox wipes to wipe down the bath tub. The first swipe I did came up with debris and hair. It grossed me out, so I decided to take a shower. The water lapped at my ankles because there was so much hair clogging the drain!! Then I dropped something behind the nightstand and found tons of dust there. Looked clean, but was only clean in the middle. '

'Such an adorable home and an absolutely relaxing location. Loved kayaking around the harbor (kayaks were a bit tough to get in and out of the shed but we were determined, lol). I’d definitely stay at this sweet little home again.'
