'Great location for people who like to be close to nature but not go camping. Comfy beds and living/dining space.Easy and short drive to so many beautiful State Parks and hiking and biking trails. Great view of Lake Superior from both levels of the home and the large front deck. Well stocked with board games, puzzles, cards if you need something to do indoors. '

'We loved Jo's place. Very comfortable, and "easy to operate" because she gives great instructions. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed a bonfire out back, and spent a lot of time on the back porch, or in front of the stone fireplace. We made all of our breakfasts and a few meal there. The kitchen is well stocked with useful tools and appliances. Highly recommend it to anyone!'

'Beautiful, cozy, well appointed cabin in the North Woods with a scenic river! Great location for hiking (we did 4 hikes all within 1 hour drive), and close to Ely for shops and treats. Beds were very comfortable, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, pellet stove for warmth, strong wifi, and dog friendly which we so appreciate! Tera is an A host with excellent communication and attention to detail. Thanks for sharing your home, we hope to return next Fall!'

'Excellent stay. The hostess is very accommodating and available at a short notice. Loved the place itself; the kitchen is well stocked, the hot tub is very soothing after a long day of beautiful hiking, nice soundbar, and a great fire pit. Also the bed was very comfortable!'

'Waking up every morning with a gorgeous view of Lake Superior makes this worth the stay alone! We loved the fire pit, sauna, as well as easy access to bike trails and state parks. At the end of a day full of adventure, it felt great to retreat to our modern, peaceful home-away-from-home with our dog and cozy up for a movie in bed. Definitely recommend this property! '

'Beautiful property set back on a gorgeous drive off of the main road. The drive to the house was my favorite part of our drive! House was clean and perfectly equipped. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and all of the lights were on dimmers, which was awesome! Location was convenient for exploring the area between Lutsen and Grand Marais. We hope to try other properties from this owner in the future! '

'Can’t say enough about this property. If you’re looking for solitude with incredible views, and plenty of outdoor activities, Little Bear is it! The house is built so perfectly for functionality and purpose, and has so much to offer, IMO.Well situated for access to everything, winery, Lutsen mountain, Superior Nat. Golf club, bike trails, etc…………Stars at night were phenomenal!!!And don’t forget to hit Lockport for a great Breakfast. Host Brennan is a great communicator as well. '

'The hosts were really wonderful and very accommodating. They also responded to messages super fast! The house itself had so much warmth and the views were as beautiful as the pictures. The whole stay was also very kid friendly- lots of toys and games and space to have fun. Would 100% recommend!'
