Super vakantie
Een heel mooi resort, niet te groot en zeer klant gericht. Mooie zwembad voorzieningen en een lekker strand met vele gratis watersport faciliteiten. Half Pension is goed, elke avond een ander buffet. 's middags kun je heerlijk lunchen in de bar aan het zwembad. Het personeel is super vriendelijk. Een super vakantie locatie.

Superb hotel on a nice beach
We stayed there 11 nights (half board) and did enjoy every day . Spacious room with a nice view over the ocean. Various choice for breakfast . Food for diner (buffet) in the Tamarind was good . In the Spice restaurant you can however have an excellent a la carte diner , A reduction of 800MUR/pp is granted on the menu price ( compensation for your half-board) . This seems fair to us for an excellent diner.The a la carte menu for the lunch in the Pink Peppercorn beach restaurant is also excellent . The prices for beverage are normal and there is a wine list with good wines from all over the world The staff is very helpful , The room is cleaned every day and in the evening they even changed the wet towels We appreciated that you can choose yourself when you want your room to be cleaned and when you want the evening service This is an excellent initiative In general we enjoyed our stay and will certainly remember the Sands when we should come back to this very nice country .

Nice beach. Room is spacious but the bed was way too hard. Instead of adding a top mattress when we complained about it, the replaced the mattress with a very old one as all the top mattresses where already in use. Staff is kind but tired. Food was mostly only okay. 4* with flaws.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location, friendly staff
Rooms are large, with solid bed and large bathroom with walk-in closet. Location is perfect on the beach at the quiet end of the bay. The restaurants and bar offer a large variety of food and the staff is very friendly. The check in is very professional and relaxed, you feel at home at once. They offer lots of entertainment and watersports activities, which are very nice to do.

Heerlijk resort
Een heerlijk resort, mooi gelegen en van alles voorzien. De kamers zijn zeer ruim, met een groot bed, ruim zitgelegenheid, veranda of balkon, ruime badkamer met douche en apart bad en een grote inloopkast. Eindelijk ruimte om alles op te hangen en te leggen. En bijzonder; de kluis heeft een stopcontact dat ook werkt als je weg bent! Bar, restaurant en zwembad zijn mooi centraal gelegen. Dus geen lange loopafstanden. Ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid. Bij halfboard is er keuze uit een (dagelijks wisselend) buffet met een brede keuze of met toeslag in het a la Carte restaurant. Er is een groot zwembad en het strand is fijn en lang. Er staan tal van (water)sport voorzieningen gratis ter beschikking. Het resort heeft ook een sauna, spa en massages. Je kunt kilometers lopen langs het strand waar verschillende hotels liggen. Waar je onderweg dan ook wat kan drinken of lunchen/eten. Het dorpje Flic en flac is niet bijzonder maar heeft wel een aantal supermarkten, waaronder een hele grote. Wil je wat van de omgeving zien en ook naar de natuurparken op het eiland, dan heb je een auto nodig. Er zijn wel excursies, maar die zijn dan weer prijzig. Een resort waar je heerlijk tot rust kunt komen, met zeer correcte en attente bediening en goede en mooie voorzieningen.

Heerlijke week in Sands Resort & Spa gehad. De plek is prachtig, het personeel deed er echt alles aan om het ons en onze kleine van 1,5 naar de zin te maken. Niet overdreven luxe maar prima.

Heerlijk tot jezelf en elkaar komen.
Koppels van over de hele wereld komen er om te trouwen. Mooi gelegen, schitterend uitzicht, fijne kamers, diverse restaurans met goed eten. Niet veel te doen voor kinderen en tieners. Voor koppels een werelddplek, niet twijfelen maar dit hotel DOEN! Veel plezier.

quiet relaxation in the sun
Right on a very nice quiet beach, the typical postcard setting, mountains in the background, large reef - very shallow, a bit too shallow for serious swimming perhaps - so very warm sea water, free of charge use of small sailing boat etc. from the resort's boat house, friendly and helpful staff. We had a comfortable room on the highest (2nd) floor, so nice sea-view from our balcony and no upstairs neighbours shifting their chairs on the tile floor at night; our room was also quiet because it was located as far away as possible from "the general areas". The resort is located ideally for those who wish to tour the inland plateau towns by rental car, or for visiting the lively Port Louis for a day. If you have a rental car, and days to spend: also enjoy the sunset from the public beach in Flic en Flac (10 minutes drive) followed by having dinner in one of the local restaurants there (if you don't wish to stay in the resort all the time).

Das gebuchte Zimmer (exclusive Suite) war fantastisch. Der gebotene Service des Hotels hervorragend, unglaublich hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. Das Angebot an Aktivitäten war sehr gut. Das Essen war sehr abwechslungsreich und immer lecker. Die Lage des Hotels, die Aussicht und das Ambiente waren ebenfalls sehr schön.

A cozy resort with a lovely small beach area directly in front of the hotel, with the longer beach area easily accessible too. Hotel staff were all genuine, very friendly and helpful. Rooms all very big with balconies, sofa and seat in room and huge bathroom with walk in wardrobe area. Restaurant was nice with enough food choices but not huge ranges (with corresponding huge waste usually!) like other bigger resorts might have. Drinks and food not included in your plan were close to London prices. The hotel offered excellent activities such as snorkelling/glass bottom boat trip to nearby reef, pedalos and kayaking, access to sauna and steam rooms all at no extra price. Overall a really lovely place to stay!

Hotellet er perfekt, beliggenhet er perfekt. MEN jeg gir hotellet 3 på komfort og miljø på grunn av, to dager på rad har det vært to bråkete gravemakiner som har jobbet i timevis foran restaurant under frokost og badebasseng. Litt kjedelig når man ønsker ro og fred.

Séjour très agréable et surtout imprévu suite au vol annulé . Le personnel est très à l’écoute et très accueillante. les 2 nuitées seront inoubliables et nous souhaitons revenir d’ici quelques mois . We were wowed the moment we arrived at the hotel, the warmth of the hotel team’s welcome, swift and smooth check-in, immediate decor and view of the hotel, and not too mention the help we received unpacking a very messy car… The festive schedule was packed with delights, activities and celebrations. Arriving in Christmas day, we had an extra lovely buffet dinner. Though we had planned to travel during our stay, but decided that we were content with relaxing in the lovely surroundings of the hotel and the range of activities on offer. The hotel staff were the real star, very professional, friendly and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel at home. Our stay at Sands was part of our honeymoon in Mauritius- thank you to the team for making it extra special for us.

Superior Room are big and very nice. Hotel cleanliness is top. Breakfast is very good with a lot of choice. Evening buffet could be better though decent enough. Hotel has plenty of indoor/outdoor activities. Overall a great experience.

Nice hotel with great, personal service
Had a great week at Sands Suites. Have stayed at other resorts in Flic-en-Flac and what really stood out was the excellent and very personal service. The staff was super friendly, they remembered you and seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with the guests. The resort is a bit smaller than the others, but facilities were plenty.

Großartiges Hotel! Alles war Top! Ich wüsste nicht was wir zu bemängeln hätten. Uns hat sehr gefallen dass es ein kleines Hotel ist. Ca. 70 Zimmer. Somit hat man einen sehr personalisierten Service. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Einen besonderen Dank an Ruddy am Strand und Sudesch , der Concierge. Der Ort is einfach paradisisch!

Great hotel to stay at!
There are three good reasons to stay at this hotel. First of all the staff, the food and the location. Most hotels have friendly staff. This was something extra ordinary. The staff really did their absolute best to make sure that we where happy and taken care of. I usually try to avoid hotels with all inclusive since the food most of the times does not meet your expectations. Here the food was really good! Well cooked and with a great variety. We stayed at three different hotels during our stay in the island. If I return I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Unser Aufenthalt im Sands war einfach klasse, wir würden zu jeder Zeit wieder kommen. Was uns besonders gefallen hat, war zum einen, dass das Sands am Ende des Flic en Flac liegt, daher hatte man den Strand quasi ganz für sich. Außerdem ist es im Vergleich zu den anderen Hotels am Flic en Flac deutlich kleiner, intimer und romantischer. Wenn wir am Strand lang gegangen sind und die anderen Hotels gesehen haben, waren wir jedes Mal wieder froh, zum Sands zurück zu kommen. Was wir noch als außerordentlich hervorheben möchten, war der Service und die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des Personals. Das haben wir so noch in keinem anderen Hotel dieser Welt erlebt. Aktuell sind wir in einem 5 Sterne Luxus Hotel am Le Morne und der Service hier ist in absolut keinster Weise vergleichbar. Wir können das Sands wirklich von Herzen empfehlen.

Séjour magique !!! Je recommande
Magnifique établissement, personnel aux petits soins, très belle chambre. Le personnel est attentionné et très réactif. Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet établissement, tout était parfait !!! Le plus : le petit granité sur la plage, le nettoyage des lunettes… le personnel est présent sans jamais être invasif. Merci beaucoup pour ces belles vacances !!!
