'Het was een fijne vakantie. Huisje tiptop in orde, goede airco en fijne kamers! We hebben een gezin met 3 kinderen (7,5 en 1 jaar) en hebben een rustig verblijf gehad. Zwembad was echt een pluspunt en de omgeving is gewoon mooi!'

'Wonderfull holiday home on a private terrain. Great base to explore the region: coastal villages and beaches, Girona, Figueres with its Dali museum, Besalu, Banyoles,... all within 45 minutes by car. For peace and quiet in the typical Catalan surroundings you don't even have to leave the property: the swimming pool on the forested terrain is an absolute plus. Helen and Joan very available without any intrusion at all, even though they have their own house about 100m away. Ideal for a family...

'My extended family of 14 had a wonderful stay at Mascaros . It is a huge 500 year old mansion with thick walls and floors of stone . The rooms were large with high ceilings and the house and kitchen were fully equipped. Outi arranged for neighbor, a chef , to cater a birthday party for us one night which was great and included a paella . There were many nice beaches close by which we drove to and Girona was a close town to visit. The house has many fans to help with cooling and the 2 third floor...

'The house is great and the swimmingpool/garden is wonderful. The view on the sea from the garden terras is breathtaking…. The only thing that’s a little hard is parking because the parking lane is very steep. But that’s certainly no reason for us why we will not be visiting this place again!'
