'My family of four really enjoyed the house. The location to the park and town center were very convenient. Easy walking distance to both. The traditional home had a nostalgic feel while having all the modern amenities of a newer home. (Including very nicely updated bathrooms)The back yard and gardens were amazing. We made fires in the cosy little mini cottage. Nice way to end the evening. If you have a family or group, I highy recommend this place vs a hotel.'

'Das mitten in Wiesen gelegene Haus ist neu renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Am Morgen erwachten wir mit Vogelgezwitscher. Hinter dem Haus konnten wir Fasane beobachten. Über den Anfahrtsweg zum Haus hoppelten Kaninchen. Das Kaminfeuer brannte bei unserem Eintreffen schon. Die sehr freundlichen Besitzer, die ca. 300 m entfernt wohnen, haben uns mit Milch und Eiern von glücklichen Hühnern versorgt. 'Probably the most beautiful cottage, grounds, and environment you could possibly encounter. We will remember this house for all time. Separate clean, open garage type space, entry bath, separate laundry, spacious kitchen where our family gathered and spend most of the evenings - window seat with fresh breeze through the windows. 'Het huisje was uniek. De keuken was fijn. De bedden waren goed. De jacuzzi was heeerlijk! Het was netjes maar wel iets muf, dat komt door het oude huisje zelf. Nadeel was de slechte wifi en dat het warm water 2 keer ' op' was, of dat de boiler niet goed werkte. Dit is opgelost toen we dit meldden.'

'Bar Cillatah was is a wonderful house in a beautiful setting. The house was clean, comfortable and close to the lovely town of Kenmare. Views from the house are amazing. We were able to do day trips from there such as The Ring of Kerry and Kinsale. Jer was an attentive host. We definitely recommend Bar Cillatah!'

'The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay.'
