'Enjoyed the stay on our road trip. Would recommend'

'We had a girls night here. Everything was excellent. It was a beautiful facility. It has lots of charming character. You feel like you have simply left home and went to stay at your grandmother's house, which is a very good thing In my book I felt right at home. When we arrived there were snacks and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies water The owner was very accommodating and pleasant. Everything was great. Food and accommodations highly recommend. Definitely plan to go back'

'Really welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.'

'We absolutely loved our stay! The property was so cute, cozy, and incredibly clean. It’s within walking distance of a beautiful winery, and you even get a 10% discount just for staying at the bed and breakfast! Such a nice little perk! And Miss Olga makes the BEST omelets! Everything about our stay was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again!'

'Loved this property! Quaint and clean. House cats were my favorite feature. They were living and sweet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Heidi!'

'I am writing this review based on Room 3. We were very disappointed with the room for many reasons, so much so, we checked out after one night with no expectation of a credit for the unused night. The room and bath are very dated, the bathroom shower curtain is held up with PVC, the toiletries were minimal, the bed creaked with the slightest movement keeping both myself and spouse awake most of the night, the furniture is mismatched and dated, the freezer was frosted over, the coffee was an open...

'The place is absolutely beautiful. The setting is perfect. The staff was kind and helpful. Here are a few little things that would have made it a perfect experience. The breakfast on both days was original and interesting. However, it was supposed to be hot not like warm. Outside of our room by the water station was a tray of dirty cups that was there untouched for three days. It may seem petty but our bathroom had only a single roll of TP that was almost used up. The mentioned complementary...

'very nice bed and breakfast. Historic building in town in which you can walk to enjoy the town and all it's offerings. Gettysburg has so much history was nice to stay in town and enjoy it. Enjoyed our room and fellow guests. Friendly staff and excellent service. Call about Parking before you check in, in town so there is a daily fee.'

'This place is lovely-rooms, grounds, furnishings. It was awkward to have the host say a lengthy blessing before breakfast. Seemed presumptuous that a group of strangers would appreciate the exposure to a host’s personal religious practice. Giving the guests a perfunctory “ do you mind?” doesn’t make it OK.'

'Absolutely lovely B &B in the perfect location. The family that owns the property are wonderfully kind and accommodating. I usually stay in brand hotels for points but I thought I’d try something different. I love it and will be back!'

'Perfect experience in Waynesboro! Staff exceptional and helpful!'

'Het was gewoon fantastisch. Je komt helemaal in de sfeer van destijds. '

'Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.'

'Everyone was so kind, house was beautiful and the food was amazing. Really made us feel like home. Highly recommend.'

'Most importantly, the cleanliness of the room and the staff were absolutely excellent. We stayed in the Hawthorn North Suite. Room: I would have enjoyed a firmer mattress. My wife had no complaints, but I had to place a pillow under my legs for back comfort. The soaking tub was quite nice; however, only one person could fit in the tub and there were no built-in water or air jets. Cottage: There was a beautiful, in-tune piano to which we had access. There was also a pool table in the...

'The house is absolutely beautiful and has a museum within it of civil war artifacts. Laura and Ronald were amazing hosts and the food was delicious. Highly recommend staying here. 10/10! I can’t wait to go back.'
