'Great place, very clean and well appointed property in a quiet residential area. Lots of local wildlife (rabbits and deer) made the stay extra special. Not much around but we knew that in advance. Local store does nice sandwiches.'

'Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.'

'This property is in a wonderful quiet location. The access to the beach and the views of the bay are amazing. The house is old and access to the house is up a lot of stairs, but that wasn’t a problem for our group. When we stayed in August there was quite a few wasps around the property which limited our time down on the grassy area, some wasp traps would be a good idea. Otherwise another great stay for us! '

'beautiful and well kept. it was the perfect get out of seatown cabin! even tho it is neighbors on 3 sides it felt very secluded and the full on unobstructed view of the water . . . i am super happy about it all! also, the host always had a quick response to questions. nice little gem and i will definitely try to book again. 'We loved this place. It was like staying at your grandparents’ cabin for the weekend. 'This property was absolutely lovely and exactly what we were looking for, for the weekend! The yurt was cozy and secluded and the walk to the bathrooms was not bad at all! During our stay, a pipe burst, resulting in no water for a few hours, but Trudy was on it and had it fixed in no time. We would definitely stay again! '

'We booked this property to celebrate our anniversary and it did not disappoint. Wayne, Nanette and Hank, the hosts were very responsive and even left us some treats and wine as a surprise. We were! 'Walmart grade furniture. The bed was only a standard size not even a queen size. The bed frame was broken when we checked in but again it was a very cheap bed frame. The two portable air conditioners could not keep the temp cool enough to stay in the house. We had to sit outside in the shade. The driveway was tough to maneuver in a full size truck. The cold plung pool was actually a cabinet freezer and was recommend to unplug it before you got in. I am not sure way you had to unplug it...

'We only spent two nights but really enjoyed the weekend break. Quiet location and the internet was surprisingly good so we could stream a movie with no issues. Yes there were a few spiders and the cell reception was non-existent but that was our goal. We love stopping by Langley and Freeland so this location was perfect. We did manage to be sucessful with our trout fishing which was an added bonus. Only improvements I could see would be to do some work on the shower so it doesn't leak...
