'What an amazing place! The kids loved it and we all had a great time around the fire. FYI, if it's warm outside, talk around the fire from the chairs, but if it's cool outside, the giant fire pit is actually a warm seat and a small fire will be all you need.The creek was a bit low in late August, but still beautiful, and the surrounding grounds were spacious to be sure. The pond is very nice, and though we didn't catch any fish, a very large one did bend the rod almost in half. The location...

'I surprised my husband with a weekend getaway here! We loved our stay. The cabin is clean, homey, and perfect for a couple! The surrounding area is gorgeous and we loved sitting by the fire pit at night. Lyle and Shelly are great hosts and communication was super easy. We came to the area for the Cherry Springs and this was a great location. The sky here is amazing too! It was a 30 min drive to the park area and 20 min to Wellsboro. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within a short drive. '

'This cabin is awesome for a couple or 3 ppl! Clean, perfectly decorated, comfortable, across from Pine Creek and down the road from the Ole Covered Wagon tour and east and west rims of the Grand Canyon of Pa. We took macadam roads and dirt roads while in our search for new places and of course “big foot!!!” Relaxing and fun. Host,Shelly very responsive and pleasant, making booking check in and out a breeze! Thanks Shelly! Looking forward to booking next year again! '

'One of the nicest cottages with everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. Spent lots of time outside. Enjoyed eating on the deck with covered canopy. My great neice enjoyed swinging. My sisters enjoyed sitting on the swing. Loved walking on the trail behind the cottage. Water in the stream was at a real low level. Did see a crawdad in it though. Saw a black squirrel. Enjoyed eating at a few restaurants in Wellsboro. Got to see the gas lights lite up at night. Also got to both rim outlooks....

'Perfect cabin for our family! (4 adults, 1 Toddler!) plenty of space outside for the little to run around, and plenty of room inside! 'The property was clean and the setting was perfect! We sat by the fire ring which was right beside pine creek. We saw an eagle on our first night. Then we hiked and rode our side by side all the way to Colton park. At the end of the day we relaxed in the hot tube. The host responded to all our questions in a timely manner and was very kind. 'This cabin was perfect and had all the amenities one could ask. The state park is just up the road and it does get dark at night at the cabin. We were fortunate enough to have a clear night with an amazing view of the milky way. Great place for those who want to stargaze and don't want to bother figuring out camping at Cherry Springs. The nearby town is quaint and you can find just about everything at the local supermarket. We will definitely be back! '

'The host made the whole process easy. We were given excellent directions to the cabin and we had no issues getting into the cabin. The cabin was very clean and was equipped with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The WiFi and TV both worked well.
