'We stayed at the Garden Cottage and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the gardens. Also we took full advantage of the many walking trails in the local area. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfy. We would love to come back again!'

'Burts is family run. Nick and staff make sure that everything is perfection. The food is exemplary and the quality of the linen for the bedrooms is first class. My room was on the second floor and was spacious. My only small gripe would be to replace the shower enclosure curtain with a glass screen. Otherwise, highly recommend this lovely hotel.'

'Very easy going and comfortable hotel, beautifully located alongthe river Tweed. It’s well worth staying a couple of nights and use the hotel as a base for some beautiful hikes and sight-seeing. We loved the food in the restaurant. Best we had in Schotland. Feesh fish, crispy vegetables and a great breakfast ontbe 1st floor with a stunning view in the river. You can even bring your dogs!'
