'We loved Dream Villa! It is a beautiful building right in the middle of Galle- you cannot ask for a better location! The room was great, big comfy bed and good a/c. Service was great (we checked in with a young guy who did not speak a lot of English but he was so nice and helpful) and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you Dream Villa!'

'Booking Closenberg is booking a party-center annex hotel. We stayed for 3 days. On 2 days there was a wedding-function. This means electronic music from 10 am until 16 pm. The last 2 hours on a very loud volume. Wedding guests entering the poolside although this is forbidden by the hotel. They just don't listen and do what they want. It is as if they have rented the whole place. Of course you can avoid all this by just leaving for the day. But if you have planned to enjoy the beautiful garden...

'It's closer to Galle Fort. The staff are nice & helpful. But, all other facilities are basic and no hot water shower system and bath room is not clean. Old packets of tea / Coffee & sugar in the room. So, I couldn't make a cup of tea. '

'Nice homestay with a lovely garden. 4km from the city centre. The open-air skylight in the bathroom is a lovely touch but it also lets the bugs in. The owner and is family are very welcoming. Breakfast was good and sufficient.'

"My fiancé and I stayed at this hotel, and had a great seven days stay. The room was spotless and was cleaned twice a day, the pool was a welcome treat to escape the heat, and the large various of food was incredibly tasty. The people working there, Dilan and Sherman, made sure we always had everything we needed, and even went as far to prepare a take away breakfast for the days with an early start. Shamika was always ready to answer any of our questions and give amazing advice regarding different activities that were close by. All in all, we had one of the best stays we've ever had, and would love to be back soon."
