'Lovely house with great wraparound porch and gorgeous plants & trees. The lilacs, which I love, were blooming which was absolutely delightful - so aromatic and beautiful! The bed was very comfy and the view of the town and water was joyful. There's a lovely art gallery, used bookstore, and plenty of dining options nearby. A very sweet couple manages the inn and they're excellent cooks - Captain Sawyer's breakfast was beyond delicious - one day it was just me and they served huevos rancheros...

'Lovely roomy inn in South Bristol, Maine on Christmas cove. The hosts Alex a nd Freddy were very friendly and welcoming. My room was spacious with a private full bath. There is a tower you can go up to via several staircases to an amazing view overlooking the water and pine trees. The made to order breakfasts were delicious. Lots of beverages available at anytime. We had some nice conversations. They are still remodeling and redecorating some areas from their new owership a year ago. '

'This property was beautiful, comfortable and clean, centrally located but out of the main street crowds. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance so it worked out well. We would go back in a minute!! Carol is the ultimate hostess, and serves an amazing breakfast!!!!'

'Our week in Maine at Stonehouse Manor was even better than we had imagined! We found ourselves at a beautiful B&Bin an historic home, close to wonderful Popham Beach, local trails, and an easy drive to Bath.The setting of the house is incredible and rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and updated.Jane’s hospitality brought another level of enjoyment and comfort. 'We enjoyed our stay at the Newcastle Inn. Our innkeeper, Julie, was friendly and helpful. She made an excellent recommendation for dinner and served a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon. We had never spent time in the Newcastle area. We will definitely visit the Inn again. '
