'Great rooms, bar, and location 😊'

'Continental breakfast is het niet er lagen croissants, maar is gewoon engels breakfast. Het brandalarm ging midden in de nacht af, slecht deze ook checken'

'Ontzettend leuke, authentieke locatie met bijzonder vriendelijke mensen. Kleine, maar gezellige kamers met veel sfeer. Eén klein minpuntje: in één van de kamers was het onmogelijk om je haar te föhnen in de buurt van een spiegel.'

'We hebben slechts 1 nacht in het hotel verbleven met 3 personen en we hadden een ruime familiekamer wat eigenlijk je eigen cottage is verdeeld over meerdere etages. Het gebouw zelf is prachtig, zoals bijna alle gebouwen in die regio en met een ruime tuin eromheen. Het interieur zelf, kan her en der wel een touchup gebruiken met name de receptie area en badkamer, maar het is heel in het algemeen heel sfeervol en evt kleine ongemakken worden ruimschoots goedgemaakt door de vriendelijke staff.'

'Lovely place to stay and spotlessly clean Our disappointment was the size of the room we paid extra for a standard double room rather than the small double , we were given room 14 which on reflection seems more like it was a small double as it only had one bedside table and a very small gap down the other side and caught my leg on bed end when getting back down the small gap. The bed was nice and comfy but could have done with extra pillow in wardrobe ( appreciate this is personal choice )...

'Great property. There is a small check in desk just behind the bar area. Staff at check were super friendly. Room clean and spacious and super king size bed really comfortable. We had a room for 3-4 so had a super king size and then a single bed in the room. Would definitely use again when in the area. O my downsize was it’s quite costly for a pub hotel at £125. '

'The hotel was in the ideal location for our purpose.It had its own car park which was convenient. The building looks good from the outside, unfortunately the rooms are out dated and ours was very hot. As it was on the ground floor we did not feel it safe to open the larger windows and the small window did not provide sufficient cooling. We had noisy neighbours both above and next door, this was unlucky and could happen in any hotel.'

'My wife & I stayed on Sat 27thApril to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary, we have stayed before & had a wonderful time. Nat gave us a nice bottle of fizz & a note wishing us a happy anniversary. Rob was also wonderful behind the bar & eveeyone looked after us so well. Matt is a genius in the kitchen & fed us some amazing food. It is our favourite place to stay & we will be comi g back again & again.'

'The hotel had a great location, parking is a bit difficult. but very noisy, because the terrace under the room is very noisy, you think the people ar sitting and laughing in your room..... no airconditioning'

'Great place to stay, room was comfortable and clean and the shower was amazing. The best part was the restaurant though, it is worth coming here just for the venison pie alone! Genuinely the best pie I’ve ever had and the staff on that evening were incredibly friendly and professional. I spend 4 nights away a week for work and I will definitely be booking in here again!'

'Clean, very nice room. On a busy roundabout so can be noisy with traffic. Bar menu not up to date - 2 drinks they didn’t have on offer. Very good breakfast '

'Location was different to what's on the map (it's right next door to the New County Hotel). The apartment was lovely though, looks like it's been recently refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. £250 damage deposit seemed quite excessive. Not sure if they get a lot of trouble as housekeeping also came in during stay but didn't do any cleaning, make beds, or fold towels etc (I only knew they'd been because they folded...
