THE RESIDENCE

The living floor runs in one curve of glass. Herringbone oak underfoot, a stone island long enough to seat all six of you, a dining table for eight, and a tan leather lounge turned to the view. The Gaggenau kitchen keeps its butler's pantry behind it, so the working side of dinner stays out of sight. A second lounge sits behind its own arched window with a deep modular sofa and its own television, for when the main room is busy.



THE TERRACE

Mornings happen east, under the timber-lined arch. Coffee, sun on the water, and dining for six with the marina and the island's rooftops below the balustrade. Evenings move west, when the sunset crosses the hinterland and the glass draws the last light across the floor. A second balcony opens off the rear lounge for the quiet end of the day.



THE BEDROOMS

The king master faces the sunrise through full-height glass. Its ensuite holds a freestanding bath in a corner of glazing, a double stone vanity beside it, and the river below. The second bedroom takes a queen and watches the water through its own arch. The third takes a queen in a wrapped corner of glass. Hotel-grade linen on every bed, and a powder room kept aside for guests.



THE KITCHEN

Built to cook properly in. The full Gaggenau package runs to an induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher and integrated fridge, with a stone island that doubles as the breakfast bar and the butler's pantry behind it for the mess. Pod espresso machine, and crockery, glassware and cookware for eight.



THE BUILDING

The rooftop carries a pool deck with daybeds, shared with residents, looking back over the city. A lift runs from the secure car space to your floor and the lobby is intercom-controlled. The Arches stands fourteen floors over a quiet island street, two floors below the roof.



Guest Access:

The entire residence is yours: all three bedrooms, both lounges, the east terrace and the second balcony, plus a secure car space with lift access to your floor. You also have full use of the building's rooftop pool deck, shared with residents. The pool is unheated.



The Neighborhood:

Chevron Island sits in the Nerang River between Surfers Paradise and the Gold Coast's arts precinct: a pocket of cafés and restaurants along Thomas Drive that locals tend to keep to themselves. Cross the eastern bridge for Surfers Paradise and the beach; cross the HOTA green bridge for galleries, weekend markets and riverside parkland. A quiet island address with the whole coast within reach.



Getting Around:

Most of a stay here runs on foot: the island is flat and walkable, Surfers Paradise is a few minutes across the bridge, and the beach is about 10 minutes away. The G:link light rail is a short walk beyond the bridge, rideshare reaches the door, and Gold Coast Airport is about 30 minutes by car. One secure car space with lift access comes with the residence.



Other Things to Note:

A few honest notes. You are met on arrival, so there is no self check-in: your Aryve host will guide you in. The home is all-electric. A noise monitor is fitted in the living area to protect quiet hours; there are no cameras inside the home. The terrace and balconies sit at level 14, so children should be supervised. The rooftop pool is shared with residents and unheated. One secure car space is included, reached by lift.



Interaction with Guests:

Most holiday homes are managed from another city, through an app, with a code and a hope. This one is not.



Aryve is a Gold Coast team and this residence is managed directly, not passed to an agency or a call centre. You will know exactly how you are getting in before you travel. Where it suits, one of us meets you at the door and hands you the keys; where a self check-in works better for your arrival time, the code and a walkthrough come to you in advance. Either way, where to park, which entrance and which door are already in writing.



The home is turned over to a hotel standard between every stay. If something is not right, you message one number, and the person who answers is the person who can fix it.



Available when you need us. Absent when you do not. That balance is the job.
