'The staff was extremely helpful. We couldn’t figure out how to open the sofa bed. The front desk person tried; she got the manager; and then they called a woman who’s worked at the hotel the longest and she knew the trick to opening it. This was all at 10pm. The breakfast had the best home fries!'

'Great old world style property with good food. We have stayed there several times with very favorable results. The room however on this trip was too small to comfortably hold two adults. Very little room between the beds and the walls and not much room to get dressed or store luggage. Just make sure you request a larger room.'

'Perfect clean room and bathroom. 4 pillows per bed, extra blanket. best shower pressure I have ever had in a motel!! So close to hospital and mall and Portland. Very well run a real diamond in the ruff!! Will also be our choice for this part of Maine.'
