'Very helpful and kind staff, when I mentioned that the information about the airport shuttle wasn't correct online, the lady at the front desk offered to co.pensate for the confusion by giving us a breakfast voucher. The breakfast was amazing and her gesture was appreciated. The proxi.ity to the Ronald Reagan airport was also a big plus. After a long trip it was a short ride tp the hotel. All in all, a good experience and I would stay here again. '

'This hotel is currently (5/7/26) being renovated. This is probably the first hotel I stayed at that I didn’t feel like I needed to check for cleanliness. I wouldn’t have felt weird walking barefoot if I had needed to. The room was spacious and clean. Full, large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand soap were on board. You have to park about two blocks away that is inconvenient, but you are in a tight historical neighborhood so it’s quite understandable. 'Our room is shockingly awful. The appliances are dirty, primarily outside but I wouldn't use the microwave with a 10 foot pole. I always thought Hampton Inn and Suites was an upscale hotel. This looks like a Motel 6 or Super 8. I guess since it is pet friendly, it's assumed pet owners are dirty.'
