Before our arrival, I requested a room on a higher floor away from the noise, as my son loves staying on high floors, and I also asked if it would be possible to display a birthday message in the room. 'Prima voor 1 nacht, voor het bezoeken van de Blue mountains. Goedkoop motel, je krijgt wat je betaald. Wij hadden op onze kamer (25) geen internet.'

'Spotless room and hotel, as new room and facilities, great shower 10 out of 10, excellent King bed and four extra large pillows. Good size room, close to the RSL and only a couple of minutes drive to the heart of Katoomba. Great Management & staff, highly recommend.'

'Historic hotel is well located between Katoomba and Blackheath so very easy drive to many sites. Due to age of hotel rooms a little small but functional, the decor even older was well maintained and cosy. Only cons room had to be cleaned again before we accepted it, however the management reacted well and solved the problem. Staff friendly however suggest a bit of training in customer service will work to help make this hotel even better. Overall would recommend this hotel.'
