'Onze cottage was heel erg chique en met grote aandacht voor alle details ingericht. Een heerlijk bed met luxe beddengoed. Twee fijne armstoelen met een goede leeslamp. Een grote, ruime badkamer. Werkelijk alles klopte.'

'This is a beautiful country place. It has a lovely atmosphere and character. The outdoor bath is a great way to relax and enjoy the bird life or the stars if you are so inclined. There was lots of firewood and kindling for the wood burner. There were electric blankets on the bed which was great because we stayed in winter during a cold snap and a severe frost. The kitchen was pretty well equipped with an excellent gas hob. The carpeted floor and fluffy floor rugs helped with warmth and comfort.'

'Overall we absolutely loved our stay, we had no issues at all. Highly recommended staying in this neat little place.'

'This is a lovely and well equipped cottage though was a little chilly the night with a heavy frost (until we located the heater!) It was also a bit confusing to locate, as it is up several driveways, past other houses, but we got there without too much trouble!'

'Outstanding cottage and experience. I can’t recommend this property enough.'

'Was a most pleasant stay - lots of information, lots of chats and laughs. And Fin (dog) is really gorgeous. I loved my stay here. Really nice people.'

'Beautiful cottage and very well presented. Kitchen excellent, lovely lounge area and outside deck amazing. Bedrooms great with very comfy beds. Highly recommended.'

'Perfect for our one night stay. Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Friendly people'

'Clean and quiet rural location . Would go back. Owner helpful. Kay'

'The air conditioner was broken and there was no heating from the second day and it was cold. The battery of the electronic key ran out and I couldn't put it in for about 2 hours. I contacted the owner in a hurry, but it was a pity that he prioritised his errands and did not respond immediately. ( It may be normal in New Zealand, but it was very uneasy for people who came from abroad for the first time)'

'We recently stayed here as we were flying in overseas for a wedding. The location was perfect, however that is the only positive. Sadly the listing was nothing as described. Communication was appalling ,we prebooked this almost a year in advance. Days before we were due to arrive I reached out and received nothing. I had to contact the help centre to find a number so I could personally contact the host. As there was 10 of us travelling we were extremely stressed and on top of that when we...

'Charming, peaceful location; excellent getaway from city life.'

'Awesome hosts and the accommodation met all expectations!! '

'First impression was wow, nice and secluded but still close to town. Property was more than we expected. Communication was always so easy and straight forward. House was clean and had everything you would need. The host had supplies in the fridge for their guest which was a great touch. Washing machine if needed. Extras also if you wanted to enjoy the property. WiFi was provided which was a bonus. If you are looking for a quite getaway from the city slicking life, this is a place you should...

'Laneway Cottage was just perfect! Had everything we needed - especially since this was a last minute trip for us! Karen made check in and check out seamless. Great to be close to the mall and other shops. Cottage had everything we needed to cook a couple of meals too! The welcome sign was so thoughtful ❤️ We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!'
