'Elsa's Inn is a lovey spot for quiet scenic stays - the bed and pillows were lush and the rooms are furnished with beautiful antiques. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to assit me with a small issue. I will return whenever I am in the area. '

What i did observe, was a place that was reasonable priced, central to what i needed. Staff was friendly, polite, and my room was very clean (just older facility). I would hesitate to stay here again if i ever came back to Acadia. '

The only complaint I have is the parking lot is Sandy and being on a motorcycle that could be problematic. There is no clerk or anyone to really talk to. They just send you a message with a code and Wi-Fi password but it works out fine. I’d stay here again.'

'We enjoyed our stay in the Elegant Suite! The Suite is Very Large 2 room suite with a nice size shower, 2 BR sinks and a Jacuzzi Tub (we did not use). 'I liked the roominess of the room and the two luggage holders so no one has to crawl around on the floor to open their suitcase. The shower was safe with two handles for getting in and out of the tub. The motel is located down Main St but far enough away from all the noise and traffic. Easy to get around town. Also located close to the hospital to visit someone.'

'My husband and I have never been to Bar Harbor. We went for four days where we stayed at this amazing hotel. The place was clean, nice well-maintained. The owners were so pleasant so friendly. Anything you asked for you had it? It was awesome. The only thing I would recommend is if you have an issue with stairs request the first floor there is no landing on the stairs as you go up to the second floor but overall could not ask for a better place. Apartment with full kitchen (Raven's Nest) was great for preparing a couple of meals. The king size bed was so comfortable and the shower had great pressure. The built-in window seat for two was lovely for relaxing and reading. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. '

I did not rent a car, there were two shuttle pick-up spots within walking distance. In the evening, shuttle drivers would drop me off right by the property when I gave them advanced notice.
