'Amazing little Gem near Gig Harbor! We had a wonderful stay! The first night we arrived very late. It was pouring down rain and dark outside. We were able to find the place very easily and once in it was very cozy. There is a little door that opens up to the forest and was really peaceful listening to the rain all night. 'The views from the outdoor seating area are top notch. Looking out across the sound every night at sunset was the perfect way to end the day. This was the perfect spot for our stay. Birds and deer every morning in the yard and on our way off and on the island as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our trip everything was perfect. '

'Very Comfortable with a well appointed Kitchen. Excellent view of Hood Canal and occasional glimpses of mountains through the fog and clouds. Would recommend visiting the Union Visitor Center for good information about the sites and activities in the area. We enjoyed a few hikes to waterfalls and dinner of Oysters and Dungenese crabs. Preparing meals was easy in the spacious and well appointed kitchen. Perhaps the only drawback was the motorcycles on the road below the cabin and canal. I...

'The property was lovely with beautiful views of the water. It was very private and perfect for a weekend getaway. The only hiccup was the WiFi. It was too weak to make it through a movie using either our computers or their own ROKU system. Loading was slow. They need to up their WiFi strength and put in extenders so that you can use the WiFi in the back bedroom. Otherwise are stay was perfect.'

The place was spotless and well-maintained—felt like a home away from home. It was also nice and quiet, making for a peaceful stay.
