'I am not sure what to write. Location perfect for sightseeing, free parking, spacious room (the suite), quiet (good sleep) and clean. Communication with owner upfront good. We had a request for a more continental breakfast and it was hard to explain. Must say, staff tried their best to meet our wishes. Bed was a bit hard for us, but that is personal taste. In the end nothing to complain and a lot of pro’s but we didn’t feel it, but no cons so if you search in this location, this is a good hotel...

'Wataya = WOW! From the second we arrive... I'm so happy Aaron chose this place.
The staff is a family that has owned and operated this wonderful house for 7 generations!
We chill in the onsen chatting loudly as we are the only guests today, return to the room to relax looking at the garden during twilight.
Dinner is served! We did a poor job at informing them of my friend's restricted diet... The proprieter is so generous! She grabs a frozen pizza from her home to feed my buddy...

'Calm, quiet, beautiful, worth it. This is the place you should stay at in Komatsu and cancel whatever place you’re thinking to stay. 'Good place to stay when there is no (affordable) accommodation available in Kanazawa. Kanazawa is easily accessible from the JR Matto station (2 minutes walk from the hotel).
Other than that it's a hotel. Huge and not a very pretty building. But for us it's a place to sleep. The room van decent and clean. We stayed here with 2 adults and a baby.
