Vergezel vrienden en familie in de Shoebox Cottage, een idyllisch toevluchtsoord in het hart van Saugatuck, Michigan. Deze ruime woning is volledig van binnen en van buiten gerenoveerd en heeft meer dan 1600 vierkante meter. Er zijn drie slaapkamers, twee volledige baden en tijger hardhouten vloeren. De keuken is uitgerust met roestvrijstalen apparaten en granieten aanrecht. Elke badkamer heeft dubbele wastafels met granieten aanrecht en keramische tegelvloeren. U kunt buiten ontspannen op de patio of het dek en genieten van de rustige tuin en de fontein. Dit huis is schoon en smaakvol ingericht. De Shoebox Cottage is jaloers! U bevindt zich op loopafstand van restaurants, winkels, parken en de haven. Als u actief wilt blijven, loop dan naar de historische kettingveerboot, steek de Kalamazoo-rivier over en loop naar Oval Beach. Oval Beach staat bekend als een van de top tien stranden in de Verenigde Staten. Als u op zoek bent om te ontspannen en de bezienswaardigheden te zien, maak dan een ritje op de Star of Saugatuck, de Harbor Duck, of maak een tour door de SS Keewatin, een stoomschip uit het Titanic-tijdperk. Great Property with Excellent Location

We enjoyed our stay at the Shoebox Cottage. The property was well maintained and stocked with everything we needed for the week. Liz was a great host who was quick to assist via phone call when we first arrived due to some operator error with the door lock/code. The location absolutely cannot be beat as it is in the heart of downtown Saugatuck and within immediate walking distance of all the restaurants and shops. One minor issue was that the shower track in the upstairs guest bath did not glide well at all for the entirety of our visit. Listing photos could also serve to be updated as there appeared to be a mature tree removed and a new fence/gate added. We would highly recommend this property with anyone interested in visiting Saugatuck and will certainly look to stay there again ourselves in the future!

Perfect Property

Perfect three bedroom home right in the mix of things. Went here will three couples for a weekend of fun and golf. The property is right in the heart of the town, easily walkable to restaurants and shopping. Very clean. Fantastic patio to hang out on. Beautiful neighborhood. Great cottage, great location

We enjoyed our stay here. Check in was easy, house has a great layout and was clean. The location is great. You can easily walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. We enjoyed being able to sit in the backyard garden area in the evening. Our only issue was that we found the master bedroom bed to be uncomfortable. Also though it sleeps 7, note that the living/kitchen area is small (no kitchen table, just a breakfast bar with stools, and the living area isn't huge). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and this worked well for our needs.

Fabulous week in Saugatuck.

We had such a good time staying at Shoebox Cottage. The house was perfect-clean and beautifully furnished, and the location was great. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens and outdoor space-a lovely oasis! This is one of the best rentals we have had in our many years of coming to Saugatuck for our family gathering each summer.

Family Celebration

Great location and very nice home. The only complaints would be the upstairs drain in the shower/tub did not flow well. T/A well, the beds were also very very soft. Otherwise, the place was very nice and great there was a little garden and even a grill, that had we stayed longer, I am sure we would have used.

Charm plus convenience

We have been coming to Saugatuck for 30+ years and this charming and well equipped house was one of the best locations for us with a very short walk to downtown. The gardens were beautiful and tranquil. We had two cars but there was ample parking in the drive for 4, an important consideration if you know how difficult parking can be in the area. Lovely decor with updated kitchen and bath, ample towels and linens and very clean. Highly recommended.

It was the perfect setting for my kids to meet up with my husband and myself. It was close enough to walk to eat, shop and enjoy the water and yet just far enough to give us the privacy if we wanted. The home was clean and the garden was lovely, many family games were played outback!

Wonderful Family Thanksgiving

This House has a lovely outdoor garden area but the weather kept the 6 members of our party inside for much of our 3 day stay. Living area is quite small, kitchen area has a bar counter with 4 chairs for eating and playing any games There were a few issues with the house that were brought to Liz’s attention and her response was quick. My first time to visit the area and found Saugatuck extremely charming and friendly city.. Will visit again
