'For £60 a night I had a clean and comfy bed, a hot shower, and a tea and coffee station. The staff were friendly and helpful. Yes, it is a little noisy and crooked, but it's an old pub with normal pub hours so that's to be expected. I'm a female in my early 30s travelling on my own and I felt very safe and welcomed. Obviously this is not the hotels fault so still rating a 5, but just make sure you have a decent car to get there as the route is very steep and goes through a mountain range. The...

'Excellent accommodation, perfect for exploring the lakes. Just off the A66 with plenty of parking. I stayed 3 nights in the single room. It was warm, cosy and comfortable with a nice en-suite bathroom. Great food with vegetarian and vegan option. Very reasonably priced and friendly and helpful hosts, I would highly recommend. '

'Room was great with amazing views. Friendly and lovely staff.. Great location. Also, high compliments for the food we had there. We thought the main bedding could be better with a bit more blackout curtain/blinds as the ambient lights outside were on for a longer period at night - these are some feedback for the sake of it.
