'Prima hotel, op doorreis of als uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Kamer, badkamer en bedden waren goed. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid, met vers fruit (aardbeiden, frambozen, blauwe bessen), yoghurt en ruime keuze in Engelse ontbijt-varianten met ei, bacon etc. Ook het avondeten was er prima. Vlak naast het hotel zijn er Tesla oplaadpunten, die ook door niet-Tesla's gebruikt kunnen worden, en die met hoge snelheid kunnen laden. Handig!'

'Travelled with 2 puppies was worried about how things would be. Didn’t need to be worried as dog friendly rooms available & staff very accommodating. Meals served all day & a good variety to choose from. Have booked for close family to stay later in the year.'

'A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We were in room 3 which had a challenging set of stairs, no lift due to nature of the historic building. Very atmospheric place bang in the middle of the town great access on foot to all amenities. A 10 minute stroll to the Castle and the excellent car park. Breakfast was first class value.
