'I was very disappointed with the pool area! The 45$ a day charge was not worth it we never were able to use the pool! It was full of children constantly and the pool was small, hot tub also in the evening full of kids! Then the bar closed early several days while we were there. They also close the pool area early! They had 4 fireplaces with lovely couches you could enjoy in the evening with friends. But the area closed early so we were asked to leave once again at around 8:30pm. We also tried...

'It makes me sad to leave this beautiful, peaceful place. The Kahala is certainly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at—at least recently. From the valet staff to the front desk to the servers and housekeepers, the Kahala provides excellent and friendly service. The location is convenient—close enough to Waikiki, diamond head, and other tourist spots but not too close to the noise and crowds. 'The staffs were friendly, however our room is a bit old and have some curtain issue (it was ripped) so make sure to check everything and notify the staffs. But overall everything was great.'

'There were no rooms available for 2 nights in a row so I purchased 2 separate rooms (wed- Thurs and then Thurs - Fri) Richard wanted to make sure that we didn’t have to check out and wait til the next room was ready, so he hooked us up to go from one room to the next.
