'We had a reservation for an ocean view suite with a kind bed. We received a parking lot/concrete roof view room with queen beds. There was about a $40 a night difference. The night we arrived we were not told this upfront and when we asked about the mix-up, the desk clerk said they gave away that room because we booked third party they don't honor preferences and we were lucky to have a room.
Five days later they moved us into a better room with a partial ocean view.

'Mooi nieuw hotel, nette en schone kamer. Ontbijt heeft weinig gezonde keuzemogelijkheden, er is bv. niets van vers fruit aanwezig. En wegwerpbestek en -borden en in plastic ingepakte bekers is niet echt meer van deze tijd. De locatie is prima, met restaurants en supermarkt in de buurt en de ingang naar Henderson Beach State Park om de hoek.'

'Pool was great, hot tub also. Property is well maintained and staff is friendly and extremely efficient. Excellent place for families and kids. Safe environment, all under lock and key. 'Room was fine. The lobby/eating area was messy with food and crumbs everywhere. Biggest problem was all external doors for leaving, or re-entry with a room key, were duct taped open. I removed tape multiple times so there wasn’t free access into the building. Someone kept replacing the tape over the door latch. Meaning there was no security doors working. Anyone could walk into the hotel at anytime without any staff knowing. These doors should be kept functional and work properly. They are there...

'Parking lot was difficult to navigate into and out of at night due to lack of appropriate lighting. The refrigerator was rusty and had mold on the inside of the door. The room smelled like mildew. We had reserved two nights, but after one night, we checked out and went to a different hotel.'

'Convenient location, check in process was completed on a kiosk so I was a little nervous that there was no management on site, but I had no issues. The room had a terrible smell and the coverlets on the beds were filthy with big stains on them. I bought air freshener and a blanket. Other than that, the room was clean, no bugs. The ice machine worked. '
