'Had an amazing stay at Jewel Howard Carter Hotel. We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time. Laundry service was available and great price. Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs. It’s in a quieter area of Luxor, so if you’re wanting to explore East Bank (the busier side of the city) be prepared for slightly higher taxi fares back...

'Great stay, lovely pool with the greatest Nile view, and all staff is so kind and service-oriented, from the reception desk, to the gardemers, from security to barkeeper. You feel at home! Our room was comfortable, the only issue is the fact that there is a mosque nearby, and the morning prayers are early and loud, and the room is not very soundproof... 'It was great to stay in Steinberger. The care for details was huge and the care for the family was great. Mohamed at the entrance was very kind and the kids felt as if they came home, the rest of the trip they kept talking about this hotel. They helped with arranging drivers and tours where asked. The pool is fun and clean enough :) we had the idea we were the only ones in the hotel whilst in high season but we absolutely loved it! 'We had a wonderful stay at the Al Baeirat Hotel! It's situated in a peaceful area on the west bank of the Nile, where we able to take the hotel's boat right across the river to downtown. Our main man at the hotel, Saad, was able to help us organize all of our guides and drivers while in Luxor, which made all the difference. The entire staff were both helpful and attentive. We would love to stay here again next time we visit!'
