'Money got stolen from my safe! Overal room was kinda outdated, the bathtub was plugged. There was litteraly 2 nice people from all the staff, the lady at front desk atleast gave me 100 dollar discount for the inconveniance. Overal the crimes in Bahamas are very high , i felt unsafe unfortunally. '

'I rated it terrible mainly because the hotel manager Nigel. This man was very rude and completely not suitable or competent for his position. I booked 4 nights from February 21-25. After we checked in 10 minutes my daughter found a live maggot on the bed sheet. I wasn’t in the room as I was down there in the lobby. My daughter sent me the pic and I sent to the staff. The booking initially was non refundable, the front staff and the housekeeper manager were nice they apologized for what happened...

'The hotel is in a good location in the centre of Nassau. The state of the hotel is very bad. It is like falling apart. The room had many things broken and had very old furnisher. I can mention a few things that were broken (the window blinds, the curtains, the water stopper in the bathroom). The breakfast was ok, not much choices. The pool was emptied and getting re-painted. The staff at the reception was friendly. The cleaners did their job also very good. '

'Restaurants Katsuya , Leola , Cleo, Marcus and Carna had excellent food and exceptional service. Unfortunately,Sugar Factory and 25 North had terrible service and food.
Rooms used to have a fully stocked bar fridge and bottled water. Now they don’t and only have refillable water bottles to fill to fill with tap water that doesn’t taste good.
The rooms were cleaned for the first few days and then were not.
We’ve stayed at this resort many times but it seems that some areas have declined.

'Staff which tried to be funny, but who made us feel really uncomfortable. The property is built up a hill which makes it inconvenient to walk anywhere. They have their own taxi, but are not able to plan. We changed our schedule for the taxi in line with their availability. They announced different prices for the ride twice and finally reserved a taxi which was more than 2 times more expensive than announced. Don’t expect anything complementary, even for the small bottles of water in the room...

'This was a great place to stay for our stopover. Everything was as described and the check-in simple once we’d gotten to the property. Being picked up and dropped off back at the terminal was really helpful. Be sure to communicate your plans for pickup and departure to avoid any delays and be sure on where pickup is.
Having stayed here, we will definitely stay here again when transiting between islands or mainland USA.'
