'Very nice, clean accommodation in a central location, just off the really busy area of playa Tamarindo, so it’s quiet at night. Everything is still within easy walking distance. Our room had a large comfortable king size bed and a functional mini kitchen. Also the staff were incredibly kind and helpful and there are 6 parking spots at the back of the hotel property which are free and convenient.'

'A little oasis! Gorgeous garden with a pool. The staff is superkind! Special thank you to Nancy, Mario and Endy! The complimentary dinner is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre but breakfast is always terrific. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The beach is frequented by locals and tourists alike and a great place for surfing from beginners upward. The hotel's beach area is very nice with a small pool. Only minus is the costs of tours and activities. Tamarindo has something to offer...

'Our family used this as our last night stop close to the airport (LIR). It was just a key code to access the property with simple instructions to follow. The property was secure and private. Everything was new and very clean. Since we were traveling it was so nice they provided bathroom amenities, washer and dryer and full kitchen. The shower at this place was amazing and very relaxing. 'This was one of the most unique places we have ever stayed. The staff was excellent. The rooms were great. The breakfast was light and gets you going. The spa was great and the pool was perhaps the best we have ever been in. The staff is accommodating and made our honeymoon truly special.
One thing, do not leave any food items open in your room, the insects will find a way. That was completely our fault. :-)'

'Omg Tama lodge was exquisite! It was exactly what I needed. A small hostel with only a few rooms was perfect. It was a very family type place. The pool and gardens are beautiful, and the breakfast was decent, but unfortunately the positives ended there. Our room was dated and had a persistent odor that felt like a mix of humidity and mold.

'Een smal paadje leidt je zo naar het strand MAAR je kan hier niet zwemmen! Er staat een groot bord dat er in dit gedeelte krokodillen zitten, dus om te zwemmen / surfen moet je eerst 200 meter verder lopen . Dat stond niet op de website vermeld. Wij hadden het hotel juist geboekt zodat onze kinderen voor de deur in zee konden, maar dat viel dus erg tegen. Het hotel wilde ons niet tegemoet komen door 1 van de 3 geboekte nachten te cancellen .
Verder: het zijn heel basic kamers, een piepkleine...

'The hotel itself is decent. It seems quite old and not super clean. The pool area is nice and the breakfast is nice. After crossing the street the beautifull beach is there. Top service of this hote is that it provides free beach gear. Free surfboards, free bodyboards, beach chairs, beach tennis sets, snorkel gear, everything you need for a fun day at the beach! '
