'When you arrive through the durt road 2 min from town, you immediatly smell the garbage in the street that is left outside. This wasnt a good start for us. But The hotel looks like the pictures, the room was Nice. the pool is smaller And the water in the pool wasnt that clear (or clean) the hospitality is very good. The beach is frequented by locals and tourists alike and a great place for surfing from beginners upward. The hotel's beach area is very nice with a small pool. 'This hostel was incredible! VERY very social, easy to meet people and great kitchen. We had the hostel room with 2 bunk beds only - super clean. Washrooms were classic hostel washrooms, and the pool was super clean! The BEST location - 5 min walk from the beach and strip in Tamarindo. '

They will give gear for snorkeling or chairs and umbrellas for beach with a refundable deposit. The rooms have AC which worked very well. We had a cute visitor in the room, a gecko.
