'The location and vibe was perfect for us! The room was simple, neat, clean and they honored our request for a room with the couch. The bathrooms could use an update or refresh. They are dated. The restaurant was delicious and a nice surprise in this sleepy town. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Took advantage of yoga which was great. The pools are very small but lots of lounges, hammocks, ping pong and a great lending library! Will definitely return to this sleepy but fabulous town! '

'Genoten van ons korte verblijf hier. Het is een mooie plek met een fijne, prachtig aangelegde tuin met genoeg plekken rond het zwembad om lekker in de hangmat te hangen. Het strand is twee minuten lopen, alleen is Tamarindo minder makkelijk bereikbaar (met een bootje of ‘s avonds met de taxi). De kamer was schoon, fris en sfeervol ingericht. Het bed was comfortabel. De medewerkers zijn super vriendelijk, spreken uitstekend Engels en doen hun uiterste best om je te helpen. De service is echt top...

'Ocho Artisan Bungalows was fanatastic! My partner and I were there foir 3 nights, but wished we had more time! I was a bit on edge as we got there - it's on a dirt road, no lobby (just an office), and no one had ever heard of it! so I wasn't sure what we were walkiing into. But, we were immediately greeted by Ilsa and Seyu (sorry about the spelling) - who made us feel totally welcome. 'Le propriétaire (Christian) est super sympathique. L'endroit est conviviale, chaleureux et accueillant. Les chambres sont convenables et confortables. Les deux seules lacunes sont le manque d'insonorisation entre les unités et l'eau chaude manquante. Pour ce dernier point, je crois que cela est une question d'ajustement car, étant ouvert que depuis quelques mois, ils ont encore des modifications à faire.'

'Location of this place was awesome. So close to everything, beach, restaurants, bars, etc. Gaby, one of the hosts was super helpful. We had some noise issues during the first night, as our room was very close to the major road. Upon bringing this to her attention, she arranged for us to move to another room the next day. Place was clean and the pool was an added bonus. Thanks Mar Ray team.'

'Een smal paadje leidt je zo naar het strand MAAR je kan hier niet zwemmen! Er staat een groot bord dat er in dit gedeelte krokodillen zitten, dus om te zwemmen / surfen moet je eerst 200 meter verder lopen . Dat stond niet op de website vermeld. Wij hadden het hotel juist geboekt zodat onze kinderen voor de deur in zee konden, maar dat viel dus erg tegen. Het hotel wilde ons niet tegemoet komen door 1 van de 3 geboekte nachten te cancellen .
