'Hotel Cantarana and its staff are truly what made our Costa Rica trip so enjoyable. From before we even checked in, their staff was helpful and responsive regarding check in. After checking in, our room was clean and amenities were amazing! We are already planning for our return to Hotel Cantarana!'

'Genoten van ons korte verblijf hier. Het is een mooie plek met een fijne, prachtig aangelegde tuin met genoeg plekken rond het zwembad om lekker in de hangmat te hangen. Het strand is twee minuten lopen, alleen is Tamarindo minder makkelijk bereikbaar (met een bootje of ‘s avonds met de taxi). De kamer was schoon, fris en sfeervol ingericht. Het bed was comfortabel. De medewerkers zijn super vriendelijk, spreken uitstekend Engels en doen hun uiterste best om je te helpen. De service is echt top...
'This is a great property and Juan, our host while on site, served us great breakfasts and was extremely polite and accommodating with any needs or desires. I love this property and will be staying there again and as often as possible. There is some construction on both sides of the hotel that might bother some, but it just wasn’t an issue for us. We were out exploring, beaching, and surfing during the day. Rooms, parking, and proximity to town were fantastic! '

The rooms are beautiful, the pool is stunning, the jungle gym is also such an amazing addition but nothing tops the the host himself, he made sure every question was answered and I truly felt at home almost 4000 km from Canada.

'Owner was amazing. I had a delayed flight and they checked up on me and even gave me a ride from a nearby hotel as I was having a hard time getting Uber rides within Pinilla. Internet was strong and I was able to work remotely without issues during my meetings. The room is comfy and the property is just excellent. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family'
'When you arrive through the durt road 2 min from town, you immediatly smell the garbage in the street that is left outside. This wasnt a good start for us. But The hotel looks like the pictures, the room was Nice. the pool is smaller And the water in the pool wasnt that clear (or clean) the hospitality is very good. The señora Made us awesome breakfast And was really helpful. Don’t forget to bring mosquito repellent. '

'The property is in an excellent location with easy access to the beach and local restaurants. The bungalow was spacious and comfortable for our family. We spent a lot of time on the patio and the pool was refreshing after a day on the beach. Dave was very helpful and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend! '
'A little oasis! Gorgeous garden with a pool. The staff is superkind! Special thank you to Nancy, Mario and Endy! The complimentary dinner is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre but breakfast is always terrific. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The beach is frequented by locals and tourists alike and a great place for surfing from beginners upward. The hotel's beach area is very nice with a small pool. Only minus is the costs of tours and activities. Tamarindo has something to offer...
