'Not so clean 😕'

'Kitchen was well eqipped. Staff member friendly and helpful. Pool perfect temperature. Great view. Breakfast would have been nice if fresh melons, berries etc. were served. Plain yogurts were needed too as everything was sweetened. I was thankful there were hard boiled eggs for protein. '

However there were cigarette buds still in ashtray outside of room and the entire room smelled like cigarettes and food eventhough its a smoke free motel. Reception smelled awful. 'Centrally located. Skimpy breakfast. Only choices for lunch were paninis and a hamburger. After first night, housekeeping did not make up the room. No fresh towels and dirty coffee cups and glasses left. After I complained, towels, cups etc., fixed, but the bedcover was only tidied The bed underneath wasn’t made. More complaining. The second night, everything done properly.'

'It looks like that the property has updated their rooms--at least the one we were in. I have to to say this is one of the cleanest rooms we have stayed in when visiting the area. Staff was very informative during the check-in progress. Overall we were nicely surprised by the Cedar Lodge.'

'what sank the experience was the kitchenette - dark with peeling laminate. after seeing that I didn't even want tto peel back the bedding. Just slept on top of the topping in my clothes. didn't see anything horrible or anything - just couldnt get over that kitchenette. bathroom wasn't great either.'

'This was our first no reception check in. One of the reason we picked this motel was because of the year around hot tub. We were disappointed to read the in room motel rules saying it could not be used when there is no attendant at the desk. No attendant/no hot tub.'

'I spent 3 nights here at the Ranch house inn and the staff/owners were responsive to requests. The pictures are accurate and I believe it reflects a relatively recent remodelling. Internet was fast and there was a common area with Keurig type coffee/amenities. There is ample parking in the back. Since I used this as a staging ground for my weekend at the Grand Bend Motorplex, I appreciate how convenient exeter is. There was a dollarama down the street and restaurant options close by. If...

'Checkin proces without a physical reception is cumbersome and not clear. Many messages are to be interchanged and upon the notification that check-in authorization would be disclosed 48 hours in advance, only on the arrival day itself at 3 PM an email was sent. In addition, we have been charged twice for the parking lot, whereas it was made clear we brought one car while having booked two rooms.'
