'The Gallatin is a cool, funky hotel in an up and coming neighborhood. Strong art vibe. Incredible restaurants and vintage thrift nearby as well as grocery stores and CvS/Wallgreens. Easy to get in and out with keypad access. Communication via email and text was timely and helpful. Perfectly situated just a few miles from Downtown Nashville and just far enough away to be out of the fray.'

'Great location and value. I appreciated the newness of the hotel and nice decor. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I did not appreciate having to pay extra for parking at a location nowhere near downtown. It was stated that it was for the security hired to monitor the parking lot. Has the general safety of Nashville so degraded that this was necessary?
We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again, the parking issue was just a surprise to me.'

'The staff at this hotel are excellent—friendly, helpful, and genuinely pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately, they are carrying this property harder than any hotel staff should have to.
The hotel itself is in serious need of a refurbishment. The air conditioner in my room appeared to be falling apart and was literally supported by what looked like a piece of 2x4 lumber underneath it. The bathroom was functional but looked tired and somewhat questionable.

'Booked this hotel for 4 nights, in town for the CMA fest. The good, the location is great close to restaurants and right off 12 South. The bad, after day two, we were coming back from lunch and approaching our room, there was this roach at least 2 inches crawling by our door to get in our room. 'We arrived around 12:30 pm from Indiana..didn’t have any trouble checking in at all. The room was very clean. An hour into my sleep there was disturbance next door to my room and it sounded like it was in my room. I had trouble falling back to sleep and had an early rise. Otherwise everything was fine.'

'Loved our stay at The Soundry! The lobby smelled great and everything was so clean and cute. Our room was the perfect size and the stovetop was great to cut down on the cost of going out to eat. I read a few reviews about parking but we had no issue at all. Scooters were about $9 to get to Broadway. Ubers were $7-$10 and minimal wait time for drivers.'

'Friendly and helpful staff.
Location right next to a loud bar, so keep in mind to bring earplugs. Bed was extremely comfortable.
Property apperantly was "renovated", but seemed still under renovation. You could almost taste the paint in the room. Perhaps it would've been better to accept to have one night without guests after painting during renovations instead of trying to fill up the motel anyhow. '
