'The room was bigger than the average Japanese single hotelroom, and had nice furnishing. The staff is friendly and the Japanese breakfast is a treat. Try their coffee, great quality. Kikusui is close to Imabari port area. If you don't mind a 12 minute walk from the station, it is a nice and interesting part of town to stay and walk around. The views are marvellous.'

'Phenomenal service and gorgeous location. There was a downpour of rain when we arrived and the staff prepared four umbrellas for us to receive us and walk us to our room. The room was spotless and we had a great view of the lake.'

'We came here for the biking and loved this hotel. It’s not easy to get to by public transport. You’ll want a taxi. The rooms are nice and large by Japan standards. The food was amazing. You don’t pick from a menu but they serve many different kinds of food. It is seafood focused. So if you don’t like seafood it might not be the place for you. We love Japanese style food so we were amazed. Definitely a highlight of our trip. '
