'The communication was absolutely terrible. Nobody spoke one word of English. We had to fill out forms in Spanish on our phone, received finally access to the appt with an electronic key. That was just terrible. We felt like we were kept prisoner in that house when the lock fell shut behind us. Several times we could not open the door and had to wait several minutes till "the machine" calmed down. Absolutely horrifying experience. On both sides of the appt we were looking at a blind wall. 'Very well located near the center of Bilbao and not far from the Guggenheim museum, an appartment with lots of shadow. Nice in hot days. Preparations and payments took some effort and communication, but we managed. When we were there, the fridge did not close well, so we really had to take attention to make sure it was closed. Car can be parked easily at Aparcamiento Plaza Euskadil for about 15 euro per 24 hrs. This parking garage is about 15 min walk away from the appartment. '

'There is lots of space in the apartment, and the balcony with the window opening on to it from the main bedroom is a treasure. The spacious cupboards and closets are cleverly designed. They alone are worth the experience. The only negative was the clothes washer, which didn't work. We were told that maintenance got to it just after we left. A great pizzeria is just around the corner, as are a good grocery store and a cafe/bar. The Metro, vital in Bilbao, is a fifteen-minute walk. The managers...
