'Great location, nice view of the lake from the room. My wife and I stayed there to have dinner and see a concert in Hayesville, NC. Hotel is close and convenient to that location. Room was nice and roomy - however, really needs a refresh. Furniture is old and banged up. Toilet paper hold falling apart and some lights in bathroom non-functioning. For a "Presidential Suite" @ $250/night it really needs some fresh paint and new furniture. I'd give the total experience an 8; and would stay...

The room was very basic and run down and there were even cobwebs in the bathroom. The desk chair was stained and gross but the worst was when i pulled up the sheets on the corner of the bed for the bed bug test the mattress was brown and fluid stained. Very expensive for what you get and the food and drink availability was poor. At least have a vending machine or...
