Het hotel ligt dichtbij het treinstation Gambir en daarom aantrekkelijk. De lobby is netjes, alleen de plek van de lift is apart (door het restaurant heen). Verder is het een net hotel en schoon. Het ontbijt is ook erg goed.

Mooi hotel. Makkelijke locatie, vlakbij gambir station. In de straat zelf leuke locale eettentjes. Personeel in het hotel vriendelijk. Mooie kamer en goed schoon!

goede centrale ligging / good location & staff
location is good in centrum and near trainstation. Walking distance momument. Staff (the one's who speak english) very friendly and helpfull (good job mr Randy !). Rooms clean. Nice foyer/bar. Breakfast little bit overpriced compare with outdoor eating or elsewhere in Indonesian, but tastefull. Quiet, even the rooms at streetlevel.

Dichtbij Gambir Station
Goed hotel voor de eerste paar dagen in Indonesie/Jakarta. Personeel is vriendelijk, ontbijt goed en het hotel ligt dichtbij het station waardoor je vervolgreis makkelijk is. Ook is er in de omgeving voldoende te beleven. Minpuntje waren de toegangspassen, deze deden het zo nu en dan niet waardoor je met de trap eerst naar beneden moest om vervolgens weer de passen te laten heractiveren. De beveiligingspersoneel is pro-actief, zij kwamen ons helpen toen een taxi chauffeur ons wilde oplichten. Gelukkig stak de beveiligingsmedewerker van dit Mercure hotel daar een stokje voor.

On check-in, they did not have the confirmed (!) non-smoking room with 2 beds, and offered a smoking room ("That's Ok, right?" - NOT OK, how dare you suggest). So had to wait for them to find a solution. Free parking? Sure, if you can find a spot. Parking is permanently full, and no opportunity on the street-side curb or nearby. The restaurant is exorbitantly expensive and of mediocre quality. The room was good, a bit small but clean. The bathroom is clean, with good hot water.

Best breakfast we’ve had since being in Indonesia. The air con wasn’t working but they came and fixed it straight away.

Good location but some minor hiccups
I arrived very late because of a long flight delay. However the staff member who checked me in was quite friendly. However they neglected to take a deposit on the room so every time I wanted to pay for something in the hotel they would demand I pay immediately. This was actually the hotel's mistake, not mine, and I remember this happening the last time I stayed in 2019. Also the staff need better training in English. My key card stopped functioning twice in the first 48 hours. Despite this being the primarly issue, the reception desk staff member kept inquiring as to whether I wanted the room cleaned. Better training is needed here as well.

A amazing well run and managed property. We had bussiness at US embassy which was a couple blocks away so a easy walk . Its near the National Monument park and national museum. Also walking distance to resturants and grocery stores.

Asked for a queit room but reception put me facing the main road and next to the storage. Loud noises on a Sunday at 8am from upstairs which I asked for them to check but it took them an hour. Safe wasn’t working and phone cord was broken. Could have been a good stay but unfortunately it was not with all these issues
