'The house was perfect for my wife and I as well as Deuce, our dog. Right on the creek where I caught a trout on my first cast. Loved listening to the water in the morning as I drank my coffee, excellent local coffee by the way. Great location for Boone and Blowing Rock. Just don’t take Jake’s Mountain Road, didn’t see the note beforehand. Will come back in the fall!!'

'The cabin was a great place to stay while adventuring in Grayson Highlands State Park and riding down the Virginia Creeper bike trail. The setting is peaceful and we enjoyed watching deer and wild turkeys while sitting on the back deck. The cabin was clean and as described. We took the recommendations of the owner and bought basic groceries and had dinner in Lansing. We would recommend this cabin to friends and hope to return in the future!'
