'The night we checked in, the woman on duty soent the whole time on the phone, never smiled and left it to him to check us in. Yet he kept asking her? He took 40 RM hotel tax (10 a night) in CASH. 'AC residence isn't what you expect from your normal hotel stay. There is no hotel lobby, there is no reception as it's located on the third floor of shophouses. However don't let it fool you! 'It is the most historical hotel in KK. Our suite room is still well maintained. It is roomy and decent. It's location is the best - right at the Gaya Street Market. There area a lot of dining options within walking distance. 'Enjoyable stay and a great budget property choice. Staff were all helpful, Wi-Fi good, rooms, although snug, more than adequate for sleeping and showering. The one thing that let the property down was the lack of options at breakfast. Everyday a different breakfast meal was given but you had no idea what it would be and didn’t have another option to choose if it wasn’t to your liking. That said, the quality of the food was good.
