'Being able to wander down the hill and across the street to snorkel was definitely a highlight. Our favourite room in the condo was the lanai, with it’s view of the park and ocean. The exterior of the complex is well-maintained with manicured gardens and a nice pool area. The condo itself is a little tired. A coat of paint, clearing the cupboards, removing/replacing the garburator, and new bed mattresses are suggestions for improvements. The property host was very responsive to our texts and...

Our host went out of her way to accommodate our check-in, making our vacation smooth and easy right from the beginning. We loved the location of the unit - literally steps from the pool and tennis courts! The pool was big and deep, which can be hard to find in Kona. The tennis courts were very well maintained and the resident professional provided lessons/drills...

'The Big Island Retreat is a lovely property located minutes on foot to one of the best snorkeling beaches on Big Island. We stayed in the Ocean view room which was over 2 floors. The view from the bedroom is lovely. The rooms are quite small with little storage. The bed was only a double and very high off the floor making getting into it really hard. The bathroom is not totally enclosed and has no basin as the kitchen sink is just outside. Although there was nobody staying in the rooms...
