'It was the perfect size for me and my spouse. There was construction happening during business hrs, but they weren’t too loud. We loved how close the cottage was to the beach. The lanai was the best part: eating our meals with the ocean breeze. If we had to complain about something, we would say that it does get warm in the cottage. 'We had the absolute best stay here! It’s a quiet location with an amazing beach steps away and driving distance from other breathtaking beaches. We saw turtles right next to us on the beach. The sunrise view from the beds here are amazing. It does get a little warm but with the fans and windows open it was fine, even in mid July. Check out Kaya’s market (5 min walk) for great local breakfast or lunch! 2 min drive to coffee cove which was also amazing. There is everything you need for a beach day...

'Koi Palms has it all—cozy comfort with lovely decor, koi pond just outside the windows with beautiful fish and the calming sound of falling waters, shady parking beside a private gate, quiet and well-tended neighborhood, easy 5-10 walk to both the beach and Kailua town, and, finally, very friendly and helpful owners on site. 'Easy check in, accurate listing, location on beach was beautiful. I wasn’t expecting no a/c but a quick Google search deemed it common for the island. There was also a play set on property which was an awesome surprise! '
