'Great quiet property off the beaten path. Was just what we were looking for. The outdoor shower was a pleasant surprise. We missed the note for 25/linens and 25/garbage, but we were able to remedy easily. Would stay here again.'

'We had a great vacation on Jaybird Pond, swimming, kayaking, hiking and making family memories. Renters should know that the property does not have running water or electricity. The property managers help you figure out how to boil the pond water and use the propane lamps. If you’re willing to rough it, you can’t beat the experience of having your own pond. '

'Super clean and the curb appeal was fantastic and welcoming. The owner David gave us many recommendations of things to do, we took his advice and really enjoyed our stay. Listening to the babbling creek that is part of the back yard all night was special….for a city family. '

"Our experience was a mixed bag. Check in was good; the British lady was lovely and friendly. The room was nice and spacious and everything was clean and functional. However, the floors are made of wood and carry a lot of noise. We had a family with small children staying in the room above ours and it was like a herd of elephants was stomping around up there. The pool and hot tubs could do with a good scrubbing. The water in the pool was mucky and not very inviting. All went southways however when the fire alarm sounded a 7 AM in the morning. All the guests left their room and gathered outside but THERE WAS NO STAFF IN SIGHT. No one told us what was going on or what we were supposed to do. When we made a complaint about the poor communication around the fire alarm when we checked out the guy at the counter didn't even bother to look at me. It was a very disappointing ending to what otherwise had been a pretty decent experience. Do better! "
