'Helaas kregen wij een kamer zonder uitzicht op de baai. Dat was wel de hoofdreden dat we deze lodge boekten. De kamer heeft te weinig ruimte om je spullen kwijt te kunnen, er staat 1 stoel en 2 bagagehouders maar er is geen kast of kastje of iets anders te bekennen om je kleding of spullen op kwijt te kunnen. De badkamer was heel erg klein, vooral de doucheruimte. Bovendien was het ontbijt maar tot half 9 en dit was ons bij aankomst niet verteld. Toen wij daardoor het ontbijt gemist hadden was...

'We enjoyed the size of the room and convenience for accessing all the fishing spots. We would recommend to have on hand some paper towels and extra trash bags. The decor in the room was perfect, gave the place a real ‘home away from home’ feeling! We would definitely return next year! Thank you for the opportunity to stay! '

'At arrival confusion prevailed. Not only had we already paid online through VRBO but also had to pay again upon arriving. Host had not received anything in account from VRBO, Host assured there would be a reimbursement, but there appeared to be a disconnect between lodge and VRBO. Actions are still pending. Room was cold until space and wall heaters were turned on. Slight leak under front of toilet. Room was rustic and comfortable. Location to fishing on Kasilof River is extremely good.'

'Bear and Berry Lodge was perfect for us! Just minutes from Seward but far enough out of town that you have privacy and it’s quiet. Bed and pillows were so nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor space to sit out and watch for birds and wildlife. The view from bed was beautiful. We definitely recommend this little cabin!'

'Our group was thrilled with the place! Cabin wasn't huge, but had what we needed to make our own meals (bacon, potatoes, eggs, salmon, etc) which was awesome! Nice quiet place away from the crowds. They have a great fish cleaning bench with running water and also a packaging house with vacuum sealer, bags, etc which we used the whole process for 1.65/lb.
