'Unique home on a lovely plot of land. Lots of birds, plants, and geckos around the property. The home has everything you need and is a convenient launching point to explore the east side of the island. Less than an hour to Kilauea where we were lucky enough to see a fountain episode. I love quirky houses with a story, this one used to be a water tank that has been built out. Take a morning dip in the hot tub then have breakfast on the lanai. Traffic to and from Hilo can be backed up quite a bit...

'We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Pele’s Paradise! The location is perfect and the view is absolutely stunning. The property is gorgeous, well maintained, clean and comfortable. Plenty of attractions close by, it is the perfect base for exploring the Hilo side of the island.'
