'We had the luck of staying during the week of Halloween. the room was spacious and comfortable. There was a wonderful Halloween event happening and we especially enjoyed the owl show. '

'Lovely spot near Grasmere Lake right in the centre of Grasmere. Lots of nice walks nearby. Plenty of pubs/hotels to eat and drink nearby. Would stay here again.'

'We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10'

'Basic clean accommodation. Excellent host a genuinely friendly good man, nothing was too much trouble. Full English breakfast was included and was spot on. Very hard to fault for the price. Parking is remote from the property and is in a private car park. It looks a bit shady but 2 motor bikes were there overnight without issue.'
